Privacy Policy

Our Website

Our website address is: https://post-performance-philosophy.com

At Post-Performance Philosophy, your privacy matters. This policy outlines what personal data we collect, how it’s used, and the rights you have over your information.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the information displayed in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized hash of your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to verify if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
Once your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible to the public next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract any location information from uploaded images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you don’t need to re-enter your details for future comments. These cookies last for one year.

When you visit our login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

Upon logging in, several cookies are set up to store your login information and display preferences:

  • Login cookies last for two days.
  • Screen options cookies last for one year.
  • Selecting “Remember Me” keeps your login active for two weeks.
When you log out, login cookies are automatically removed.

If you edit or publish an article, a cookie will be stored in your browser containing the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day and does not store personal data.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, or articles). Embedded content behaves exactly as if the visitor has accessed the external website directly.
These websites may collect data, use cookies, track user interaction, and monitor engagement with embedded elements—especially if you have an account and are logged in to those websites.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email to ensure security verification.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, both the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For registered users (if any), we store the personal information provided in their user profile.
All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Website administrators can also access and edit that information as needed for technical or moderation purposes.

Your Rights Over Your Data

If you have an account on this website or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You may also request the deletion of any personal data we hold about you.
This excludes data we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be reviewed by an automated spam detection service to protect the site from malicious activity.
